  • Location: Spanning across three provinces (Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa). The main entrance is in Nho Quan District, Ninh Binh, about 45km from Ninh Binh City and 120km from Hanoi.

Endangered Primate Rescue Center (EPRC): Located near the entrance, this is the first stop to see the rare Delacour's Langur and other precious primates.
Cave of Prehistoric Man (Động Người Xưa): An archaeological site holding ancient graves and traces of early human habitation.
The Thousand-Year-Old Tree (Cây Chò Ngàn Năm): An iconic giant of the jungle. Accessing this majestic tree requires a scenic 3km round-trip trek.

  • Getting to Cuc Phuong:
Luxury Shared Limousine: The most popular choice from Hanoi (approx. 1.5 – 2 hours). Price starts from 300,000 VND.
Private Car: Direct travel via Phap Van – Cau Gie Highway or National Highway 1A.
Train: Take a scenic train ride to Ninh Binh Station, then a short 7km taxi/Grab ride to the site.
  • Exploring the jungle:
Car/Motorbike: You can drive your own vehicle deep into the forest (a stunning 20km route from the gate to the central "Bong" area).
Jeep Tours: Rent a Jeep for an adventurous, open-air perspective of the jungle.
Trekking: Once at the rest stops, the real adventure begins on foot via well-marked forest trails.
Bicycle: Renting a bike to glide along the flat, paved road through the ancient canopy is a truly peaceful experience.

Tip for Guests:
You should bring insect repellent and wear shoes with good grip as the forest trails can be a bit wet. If going on a weekend, guests should book a Jeep service in advance to ensure availability.
